Our dental clinic is right opposite Top Ryde Shopping Centre which makes it easy to find whether you’re travelling by car or bus. We provide free parking at our onsite facility which is entered via Edward Street and turning right at the first driveway behind Royal Hotel Ryde. Alternatively, patients can park at the Top Ryde Shopping Centre at the exit that’s closest to the Aldi store. Once parked, exit onto Tucker Street (using the exit closest to the food courts on LG level) and you’ll find the Clinic above the Top Health Medical Centre, just a 2-3 minute walk to Blaxland Road. The following bus routes also stop outside or opposite our Clinic: 515, X15, 518, 501,520, M52,533, 534, 458, 459 and 500.

We recommend patients schedule six monthly check-up appointments to keep their smiles in top condition. During this appointment, your dentist will check for any signs of tooth decay or gum disease and is likely to take an X-ray to see if there are any issues below the gum line to be concerned about. Remember, the earlier a problem is diagnosed the sooner it can be treated, saving you time and money.

We always advise patients to seek urgent dental care if they’re suffering from a severe toothache or facial pain which can’t be relieved with painkillers. It may be that you have a dental abscess and if this is ignored, it could lead to the infection spreading to other parts of your body. West Ryde dental emergencies also include such things as facial swelling and damage to your mouth or teeth following an accident, including chips, fractures, and knocked out teeth. If you’ve lost a crown or a filling and your teeth are sensitive, then this too can be classed as a dental emergency. If in doubt, we can always give you advice over the phone.

To get your child used to visiting the dentist and to encourage good oral habits we recommend that little ones are brought to see us following the appearance of their first tooth, usually around the age of six months, and certainly by the time they reach their first birthday. Our dentists are kind and friendly and do all they can to make your child’s dental visits fun.
